Insulated containers are manufactured with foam insulation, several inches thick, in the floor, roof and walls. This buffer reduces heat transfer between the interior and exterior of the container, creating a much more constant environment within the container as compared to the temperature outside. While the temperatures inside of your standard steel storage container might reach as high as 120°F in the sun, an insulated container will keep temperatures inside cooler. Conversely, temperatures inside your insulated container stay warmer than the outside temperature in the winter.
Sturdy construction and watertight door gaskets make these units nearly impervious to pests, moisture and humidity. All Cold Storage 2 Go containers are built to strict ISO standards and can be used for both transport and storage.
We can outfit your insulated containers with heating or cooling units – ideal for products that need to be stored at temperatures between 60°F and 70°F, such as paints, dry goods, sensitive file storage, parts inventory and more.
Cold Storage 2 Go offers insulated containers for both sale and lease in 20-ft and 40-ft lengths. Interested in using an insulated container as an office, lunch room, changing room or more? Click here. Other custom modifications are availble upon request.
